FAQ

Are your items one of a kind?

Yes! All of the items I make, unless disclosed otherwise (such as merch, blank 'DIY' supplies, etc.) are all one of a kind. Please note that some fursuits are built off of other artist's blanks, and those artists will be credited in the description.

Do you custom / commission work?

Not currently. This may change in the future!

Do you attend faires, craft shows, etc.?

I am hoping to! If there are any upcoming shows I am attending as a vendor, it will be posted on the calendar page.

Do you ship internationally?

Not at this moment! Hoping to start soon.

How do I care for a fursuit from you?

Fursuits may be brushed with a clean wire brush, such as one used to groom pets. A wire brush will be provided with a fursuit head or partial purchase.

For mild dirt spots, fursuits can be cleaned by spot cleaning with a small amount of diluted Woolite or similar. A Green Machine cleaner may also be used for more stubborn marks.

Masking tape can be used to pull off grime or fuzz stuck to silicone pieces.

Glass and/or resin parts, such as eyes and teeth, can be wiped with a microfiber cloth.

Do not submerge your fursuit head in water! If your fursuit head was made with any form of painting, you must gently spot clean with diluted dish soap or very diluted laundry detergent.

Please contact me if you need further advice in cleaning your suit!

How do I clean or store an item from the Ouroboros Collection?

As these items contain real fur, storage should be in a cool, dark place, arranged so the fur is not crunched. A cotton or linen garment bag when stored is encouraged.

To clean the non-fur portions of a garment, a simple hand washing or spot cleaning should be fine. Take care not to get the fur wet or crushed as you work.

To clean the fur, use your fingers to detangle the pelt, never a brush. Do not get the fur soaking wet! For very mild dirt, you can gently shake the fur to dislodge any dust or dirt. Do not rub any stains or dirt. Never use heat. Any stains or major soiling requires a professional cleaning from your local furrier.

How are the furs / animal parts in the Ouroboros Collection sourced?

I source as much as I can secondhand. I salvage many of the items from outlet thrifts, where they can be made into something beautiful, and not waste away in a landfill.
